Americas National Night Out Against Crime in Cumberland will have 62 organizations participating. There will also be a free swim and a movie. This is a rain or shine event. If there is a hard pouring rain, everything will be moved into the Salvation Army Gym and you will be assigned a location as you enter. PLEASE SEE ATTACHED SETUP DIRECTIONS AND SITE MAP.

Parking: Parking is available along the side streets, and church/school parking lots in the area by permission.

• Directions: Google 701 E. First St. https://www.mapquest.com/us/maryland/salvation-army-2694269
• Street will be closed to normal traffic between 2:30 – 8:30 p.m. with no parking beginning at 9:00 a.m.
• ONE WAY TRAFFIC FOR SET-UP: ENTER set-up area at the Fourth St. & Somerville Ave. EXIT at First St.
o Drive through the cones to allow your vehicle in.
o Go to assigned space. They will be numbered in chalk.
o Stay as far to the right on the street as you can, to unload, and so other vehicles may get by.
o Drop off your things, remove your vehicle from the street, and then come back to set up.
o You may drop off belongings earlier in the day – place on sidewalk at your space. Police will be on-site by Noon. Do NOT place anything on street pavement until after 2:30.
o You may set-up (after 2:30) on the street or sidewalk – whichever works best for your you.
o Do not set up in the grass onto private property (for insurance reasons).
o Unless pre-arranged NO VEHICLES may be a part of your set up space.
o Tear down begins at 8:01 – DO NOT TEAR DOWN BEFORE 8:01 P.M. PLEASE!
o ABSOLUTELY NO VEHICLES ON THE STREET BEFORE 8:01 p.m. – Follow the one way direction.
